My name is Ajay Pun and I’m currently working as a Demi Chef de Partie at Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia, proudly contributing to one of the country’s most visionary projects under Saudi Vision 2030.

My international culinary journey began at the iconic Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, ranked #11 on the World’s 50 Best Hotels list (2023). From there, I moved on to Smoked Room Dubai by Chef Dani García, where we achieved a Michelin star in just 6 months, an unforgettable milestone. Later, I joined Sublimotion at NEOM Sindalah, renowned as the world’s most immersive and exclusive fine dining experience, combining gastronomy with technology and emotion. Every milestone has been deeply humbling.

But every journey has a beginning. Mine started at the Academy of Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management, Nepal.

That’s where I first wore the uniform with pride, learned to respect every ingredient, and understood what it truly means to work in this craft. The Academy gave me the structure, support, and confidence to chase international dreams, while staying grounded in discipline and humility.

From standing beside Chef José Andrés, to receiving our first Michelin recognition, to being mentored by Chef Dani García, I carry a piece of the Academy with me into every kitchen, every service, and every challenge.
